Checkout Guidelines
Green and Blue Folders (3-4 year olds)
Green and Blue Folder students are introduced to the library these years. The students learn library expectations and skills needed to use the library effectively. They are welcome to browse and read books during the period. Green and Blue Folder students do not bring home books independently.
Red Folders (5 year olds)
As these students hold more responsibilities within the classroom, those expectations follow them outside the classroom. Red Folders are encouraged to check out one book weekly from the library.

Weekly Schedule
Students are encouraged to keep their library book in a safe and special place, so they always know where to find it. It can be frustrating for Kindergarteners when they forget their book at home. Please remind your child the night before library to pack their book so they may check out a new one.
